Sapporo Clock Tower (Tokeidai) is a wooden American-style building from 1878, one of the city’s oldest surviving structures. Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill looks over the Ishikari plain and Sapporo’s southern edge. The bronze of Dr William S. Clark — “Boys, be ambitious” — is the photo stop.
